ORGANISATION OF MUNED
Constitution
MUNED has a National Status of Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in Cameroon. It is governed by the Constitution adopted by the Constitutive General Assembly (MUNED-CGA) on the 12th of May 2018 at Mbelenka in M’muock (Fosimondi). The organization adheres to its constitution as the governing document which comprises the guiding principles, vision, mission, activities and the strategies of the organization as well as the national laws governing NGOs in Cameroon.

Members/Membership
The organization has both national and international members. National members are those that reside in Cameroon while the international members are those residing in America, Europe, etc. Membership eligibility is based on one’s identification as researcher, publisher or willingness to participate in community development. To become a member, one must follow an online admission process. You will have to fill an application form in the website and submit it. The General Assembly (MUNED-GA) shall then seat at the end of the year to decide on your application based on the conditions defined in the constitution. No application fee is involved but a membership fee is applicable annually once you become a member of the organization.

General Assembly
All members of the organization whether national or international belong to the General Assembly (GA) which is the Supreme and Strategic Organ of the organization. The General Assembly votes the Executive members, admits new members, Dismisses members, defines projects to be pursued by the organization and oriented or guides the functioning of the organization. The General Assembly meets every January to examine the activity report of the past year and adopt projects and orientation for the starting year.

The Executive Committee
Its members are voted by the General Assembly. Their responsibility is to implement or execute all the resolutions of the General Assembly and sees into day-to-day running of the organization. Hence, it is the Executive and Management Organ of the organization. The Executive members comprises the Coordinator, the Assistant Coordinator, the Administrative Secretary and the Financial Secretary (who doubles as the Treasurer).

REPORTS
The organization functions in a well structured manner. The Executive members who are responsible for the day –to-day management of the organization at the end of year come up with the activity report for the year. The General Assembly deliberates on the report and adopts it and it becomes a public document.
