THE OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAMME

MUNED-Community Support Programme aims at incorporating M’muock community to the global vision of the world by improving the quality of life of the M’muock people by 2030 as stipulated in the “2030 Agenda” of the United Nations (UN) through education, development and humanitarian assistance. The progamme therefore, is a community development initiative of the MUNED Organization. MUNED organization observed that the M’muock community lacks educational, developmental and humanitarian supports and has designed this programme to raise those supports from various sources. Therefore, MUNED –Community Support Programme is a channel through which donor organizations, MUNED partners/members and good Samaritans can pass-through to support the M’muock Community of the Lebialem Division in the South West Region of Cameroon.

THE ACTORS OF THE PROGRAMME

Everyone can be part of the MUNED community Support Programme. One can participate in the programme as a Good Samaritan, MUNED partner, Donor organization or become a MUNED member. To be a MUNED partner, it means one supports the programme periodically in the MUNED’s mission of providing humanitarian aid, educational supports and developmental supports to the M’muock community and will often receive activity reports on all services provided to the community. Being a MUNED member means one is part of the organization and will annually pay the membership fee and participate in all activities of the organization. Good Samaritans are those who support the programme as the opportunity come up. Donor Organizations are both national and international organization that contract the services of MUNED In the implementation of their own projects or make funds available for MUNED to pursue humanitarian services, educational supports and developmental supports to the M’muock people.

THE PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES AND GOALS

The programme targets the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the M’muock community by focusing on some key areas like poverty alleviation, hunger reduction, good health, water sanitation, educational assistance to children, assistance to the elderly and disable people and other disturbing elements that hinder growth and development in the locality.

The programme started in 2019 and shall run to 2030 which corresponds to the “2030 Agenda” of the United Nations (UN).
