MUNED GENERAL ASSEMBLY

MUNED has both national (Cameroon based) and international members (abroad).  All the members of the organization, whether national or international constitute the General Assembly (GA) as stipulated by Article 12 of the MUNED Constitution. It is the Supreme and Strategic Organ of the organization. According to Article 13, new members of the organization are admitted at the General Assembly, the Executive Committee members equally voted, defaulting members dismissed, definition of projects to be pursued by the organization and orientations to guide the functioning of the organization. The General Assembly meets every January to evaluate the activities or reports of the past year, adopts projects and gives orientation for the starting year.

MUNED Membership eligibility is based on one’s identification as researcher, publisher or willingness to participate in community development. To become a member, one should follow an online admission process. One has to fill an application form available at the website and submit it. The General Assembly (MUNED-GA) then seats at the end of the year to deliberate on application based on the conditions defined in the constitution. No application fee is involved but a membership fee is applicable annually once admitted a member of the organization.
